a.k.a. Karmic Numbers

Once you've gone through the process of calculating and analyzing your Birth Numbers and your Name Numbers, you'll have developed a character map of yourself as you are in this life. Remember, who you are is a combination of many aspects of the Self, some aspects are specific to this life, and others come with you from past experiences. We all collect tools that allow us to progress throughout our journey. Some tools are for one-time use, and others are meant to be used many times over. Your character map lets you get a glimpes of some of the new tools you've acquired for this life, as well as some of your long-time aids.

In addition to your Date of Birth, Vowel, Consonant and Whole Name Numbers, there is one other number that adds great significance to your character map. It is called your 'Middle Life Number' and it represents the skills and talents that you are responsible for developing by the time you reach 'middle life' - a period experienced between the ages of 30 and 50. To find your Middle Life Number, simply add your unreduced (double digit) Birth Date Number to your Whole Name Number and reduce the total to a single digit. Then, based on your research and the resources available here, you can determine the meaning of this number's message to you. It is also an interesting exercise to compare this result to the information you obtained when building your Pyramids of Maturity so that you can unfold even more of your story in front of you.

Once you have your Birth Numbers, Name Numbers and your Middle Life Number, you're ready to identify your 'Missing' or 'Karmic' number(s). These represent the characteristics that are vital for you to develop in this lifetime. According to this source, Karmic Numbers represent experiences or obligations which you avoided, or from which you managed to escape in some past life. They now crop up in your present life as barriers to your growth & success unless you make a conscious effort to conquer them.

To find Penelope's Karmic Numbers, we first write out the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Then, we look over each individual digit (from both the double-digit and reduce results) from her summary of personal numbers and check off a number in our list of 1 - 9 whenever it appears in the personal numbers. By the end, any numbers that are not checked off are numbers that are missing from Penelope's personal numbers.

Missing Number 9: You should try not to live such a narrow, blinkered life - see things on a much grander scale than you do now. Think big, the world is your oyster! Care more about people and try to become an inspiration and a source of hope to others because of the example you set them.

As you can see, Penelope has quite a bit on her plate in this life! It is often the case that people have one, or perhaps two karmic numbers in their chart. If you have more, you life expereinces may seem a bit more complicated than those around you. The important thing to remember is not to compare yourself to others - this will lead to pain. Remember that we have all of eternity to 'get there', and the key is to find balance, for where there is balance, there is harmony and alignment, and where elements are aligned, resistence no long exists, and energy can flow freely. And of course, when we are in the flow, we are living of life full of magic, synchronicity and joy. Once we attain this state, even for just a moment, we can reflect it into the world around us to manifest even more joy, and share in the divine experiences with others.
