~ An easy story to read, relatable and timely, read between the lines ~

This book opens, or re-opens, ones mind to the ideas of religion, beliefs, faith and trust - trust in oneself as well as in the inner power within each of us. The author writes about stories of the incarnations of Sai Baba, describing the Spirit’s power of astral projection, materialization of objects, scents and sounds seemingly out of nothing, and the impact and interconnectedness of miracles. One reads of characters intermingling within multiple dimensions with many remembering previous lives, predicting future incarnations and taking part in walk-ins (when souls of those who have crossed over possess bodies of those who no long desire to be in the physical).

The story isn’t just about tales of people’s lives. The reader can find messages of strength in the characters and their relationships with the ideas presented. Extending the imagination, one can interpret the stories of miracles and magic as examples of the power of the mind, the possibility of what CAN BE when focused energy is combined with discipline and clear intent. The story can be read to inspire as much as to entertain - all depending on the reader. In many ways this book reminded me of ‘An Autobiography of a Yogi’ because of the story’s tangents into Indian tradition and philosophy.

For those who don’t know what to believe in or how to believe, you may identify with the characters. For those interested in learning a bit about Sai Baba or of cultural/religious traditions such as those celebrated in Indian and Jewish faiths, you may find answers in this book.

Some questions to consider asking if reading this book are...
“Do I notice receiving messages from a subtle voice within?”
“Is the power to create miracles only attainable by a chosen few or is it my limits that stop me from shooting for the stars?”
“Is it necessary to travel to far off places in order to experience the essence of sacred beliefs and traditions?”
“When are sacred contracts revealed to us and how can we become more aware of divine guidance in our everyday lives?”
“What would happen if I actively observed my thoughts throughout the day? Would my thoughts begin to change? Would I begin to choose my thoughts more often then them choosing me?”
“Do my actions today affect my tomorrow?”

Part of the book takes place in the future. Will it be our future? Do our choices make a difference? Do we have a responsibility? Choosing to educate oneself, developing understanding, acquiring knowledge and adapting to the inevitable changes that determine the quality of our lives and the options that will be available to us is one way to start. Opening our eyes to the consequences of our actions and making conscious decisions is another.

There is a connection between the Higher Self and the Conscious Self. Some people have this connection more developed then others (some will describe this developed connection represented by a more or less open Crown Chakra). What one must remember is that having the connection and being aware of it mean that you are half way to clarity. The other half of the process is trusting that the connection is real and manifesting its truth (your Soul’s Desire) in the physical dimension - in your physical reality. This book has opened my inner eye to how far away I was from trusting and acting upon the truth from within myself.

Signals...symbols...signs...are everywhere. They are abundant. Is faith a missing element for those who can’t seem to make the next step? Developing understanding, learning, reading, observing - these are important steps along the path, but so is having faith and developing wisdom by connecting knowledge with experience. How do we gain experience? Part of the process involves releasing the fear to trust.

Some books that I review on this site may not be easy for everyone to read. Some teachings require a great deal of knowledge to understand. Some teachings require much meditation and digestion before they bring clarity. But...the heavy texts are not the only pieces of literature to bring messages of clarity. This book - seemingly an easy to read story of fiction - is a treasure, perhaps in disguise. Depending on your place on your path, the time of your life, your state of being, or however you choose to look at it, messages come to us in many forms. It is our choice to accept of reject them, and no choice is right or wrong. But...faith and trust, whether they be in yourSelf, in the Universe or in whatever else you revere...is a must. That is what I have learned from this book.
